After you have read along with the books, I would like you to talk about these 3 things with the person helping you :
1. What happened at the beginning, middle, and end of each story. Make sure that you use the names of the characters and what happened with them.
2. What did you notice that was the SAME in each of the stories? What was different?
3. Is there anything in the books that reminded you of something
you might see in real life?
Now that you have thought more about the stories, I would like you to write your own pigeon book!
It is your story and anything can happen, but I would like you to do these 3 things in your story:
1. Make sure that your story has a beginning, a middle, and an end.
2. Make sure that you are using capital letters at the beginning of your sentences and punctuation at the ends of them.
3.Check that your pictures match up with the words that you write.
Lastly, share your story with your families and then bring them into class to share with your friends and me.
